Disney Day 5 - Continued

Later in the day we decided to head back into Magical Kingdom for the Specktromagic show.

Overall it was a great trip and its times like these that we understand why we both work so hard at our jobs. To be able to have these memories is really great and it was a great vacation for the three of us until it becomes the four of us.

Adelyn was a real trooper and we dragged her out sometimes. One of my fondest memories will be pushing her in a stroller at the entrance of the Magical Kingdom and she was passed out beyond belief and the security guard asking is she was resting up for the excitement. Ah too funny.

She made out and we got her a Mickey from every park. Look at that crazy humidity hair. Ah the black mail power we have.

Disney Day 5

On the fifth day we headed back into Animal Kingdom again and of course caught the Kilimanjaro Safari ride. Adelyn loves all animals.

Adelyn pointing out the Hippo's

We caught the Lion King show, and then headed back to the resort to catch some laps in the pool.

Disney Day 4 - Continued

After enjoying Hollywood Studios we went back to the resort for another power nap and decided to head into Downtown Disney via the water taxi. Adelyn loves boats.

We grabbed dinner and basically hit up all the stores around Downtown Disney.

Disney Day 4

On day four we headed over to Hollywood Studios. This was the most crowded park for us. We started kind of later in the morning and just took it slowly. We stopped by and said "Hi" to Goofy and Pluto before we headed over to the attractions.

We then headed around the park and did the backstage tour. That was fun but Adelyn was a little scared of all the booms.
So we decided it was time for lunch and we decided to take local transportation to the Sci-Fi drive in. Adelyn decided walking wasn't necessary.

We grabbed some burgers at the Sci-Fi drive-in. I think this was the best themed restaurant that we hit that we liked and was fun.

We ate lunch then headed over to our FastPass for the Toy Story ride. It was fun and I was glad all three of us could go. This was the only FastPass ride that we signed up for. It's basically a video game so Adelyn didn't quite get it but it was fun.

Disney Day 3 - Continued

Later on day three we grabbed some dinner at Tony's restaurant.
It's amazing what pasta does for a almost 2 yr old.

We then headed over to Dumbo ( How can you not ride Dumbo?) it was fun and I think Adelyn enjoyed it.

We got to see fireworks or at least what was left after we caught "It's a small world".

Disney Day 3

On Tuesday we headed to the Magical Kingdom. Now to be honest this is my favorite park, and I think the consensus of the family was it was theirs too. We woke up early to get a head start on this park.

Andrea and Adelyn all excited.

We headed to FutureWorld for the start of our day. Heading down Main street is always a great start for this park and it was busy. We hit up the Carousel of Progress... this attraction is kind of hokey but Adelyn did seem interested throughout.

I caught space mountain in this area. We then headed over to the tea cups. It took a lot to get Andrea on these as she hates spinning rides.

Adelyn patiently waited.

We then headed over to Mickey’s Toon Town. Adelyn loved the little boat water attraction. She liked it a little too much.

We said bye-bye to Walt and headed back to the resort for a power nap and decided to come back later to get dinner.

Disney 2010 - Day 2 Continued

We left Animal Kingdom and went back to Old Key West Resort and took some power naps and decided to head back in to Epcot for dinner. We caught the free bus back to Epcot. That was definitely worth it not worrying about cars and parking.

To be honest we went through Epcot pretty quick as we were trying to make some reservations for dinner. We ate at the restaurant in Mexico, Andrea is a sucker for mexican food.

We stuck around for the laser light show at Epcot, needless to say Adelyn was scared and I was with her, way from the fireworks while mom had to see the show.

Disney 2010

Sorry for the delay in the post but the old saying goes “we need a vacation from our vacation”. Andrea, Adelyn and I decided to spend a little time in Orlando...yes good ole Disney. It was a great vacation and to be honest it was tiring. Hence my delayed post to this blog. We took a ton of picture and have tons of memories before we have the 4th join the family in September. I will try to lay out our schedule just to explain how busy we made it.

1st day. Flew from Milwaukee to Orlando. Got the rental car and headed to the grocery store. If you can get access to a grocery store you can save tons of money from the wonderful disney prices for food. They allow you to bring in food in to all parks.
We then headed to Downtown Disney where we instantly got dinner. We ate the rain forest cafe, it was a typical rain forest cafe but Adelyn loved the elephants and monkeys each time the place had its thunderstorm.

2nd day. We went to Disney’s Animal Kingdom for the morning. We instantly headed to the Kilimanjaro Safari Ride. Adelyn loved it. In fact we rode it several times that week.

During our ride an ostrich almost ate us. What goofy animals.

We got to see some sleepy gorillas, Adelyn was a little scared of these guys.

We then headed around the park, Adelyn joined in a little drum circle.

Seeing how Adelyn was pretty small for most rides and Andrea was pregnant the girls let me ride the Everest ride which was exciting. I am not trying to talk it up too much as Andrea was completely jealous. Animal Kingdom was a great park...definitely recommend it for the little ones.
